Our Environment

Space to Play, Explore and Grow

At Arden Grove Pre-School, we want children to feel happy, comfortable and confident in their surroundings.

Our bright and welcoming indoor space and large outdoor play area give children plenty of opportunities to explore, be creative, develop new skills and learn through play.

Our Indoor Space

Our pre-school room is set up to encourage children to make choices, follow their interests and learn independently.

Children can enjoy a wide range of activities, including creative play, books and stories, imaginative play, construction, puzzles, messy play and activities designed to support their learning and development.

Our Outdoor Area

Children have free-flow access to our large outdoor play area throughout the session, giving them the freedom to choose whether they would like to learn and play indoors or outside.

Our outdoor space provides opportunities for active play, exploration, creativity and discovering the natural world.

Learning Through Play

Our environment is carefully planned to provide children with different ways to play, investigate and learn.

Activities and resources change regularly to reflect the children’s interests, giving them new experiences while allowing them to revisit the things they particularly enjoy.

Part of the Arden Grove School Community

Being based within Arden Grove Infant and Nursery School gives our children the opportunity to become familiar with the wider school environment and socialise with nursery and reception children.

This can help make the transition to school feel more familiar when the time comes.
