Meet The Team

At Arden Grove Pre-School, we have a high staff-to-child ratio of 1:5*. This allows us to get to know each child well, build strong, positive relationships and provide the individual support and encouragement they need to thrive.

Our dedicated team are qualified in Early Years care and education and bring many years of experience to their roles. We regularly undertake training to keep our knowledge and practice up to date and ensure we meet the latest Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) statutory requirements.

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCO) has many years of experience and holds a Level 3 SEND qualification, supporting children with additional needs and working closely with families and other professionals where appropriate.

All of our staff are trained in Paediatric First Aid, helping to ensure children are cared for in a safe and supportive environment.

*School nurseries with a qualified teacher can operate at a staff-to-child ratio of 1:13.

I came into Early Years when my own children were young. They all attended a small pre-school like ours. It worked well for me as I could be with my children during the school holidays.

The best thing about working in Early Years is watching the children grow and develop as they play. Every child is different and that’s what makes them truly special.

I feel blessed that families trust me with their most precious things. Their children!
